  • Store Owner, Joanna has had Planter Faciitis twice so she knows how unbearable the stabbing, burning discomfort is.

Both times she went to see a podiatrist and her advice is it does heal but it does takes time.

A review of her shoes meant out with the flat and unsupportive and into arch support which introduced her to Birkenstock. Before that she was not into Birks at all thinking they were ugly and not her look.

The second time was more intense with podiatry, taped foot, custom orthotics made, plenty of calf stretching and sitting rolling a tennis ball under her arch.

Today she is committed 100% to the Birkenstock footbed and stocks an extensive range of arch-support footwear with features like ankle strap for support and a slightly elevated heel. Joanna wants to help her customers feel better and confident that they can wear shoes to help them cope and heal from planter faciitis.
